May Blessings Part 2

Inspired by new life all around us, we can use the freshness in the air to open to new possibilities. (Remember that images can be tactile, touch impressions).  Try your hand at a new skill, playfully or with Zen “beginner’s mind”. Set aside a limiting belief and let your imagination soar, like young birds taking to the air, riding updrafts to rise above expectations.
If you happen to be stuck in a relationship, this is a good time of year to make the changes you have pondered, to express yourself as gracefully but honestly as you can and try out new behaviors and new dynamics within the relationship.
Baby birds are spreading their wings. Some are eager; some don’t think they can fly. Some, like eagles, get pushed from the nest and left to discover that in free fall, instinct takes over and buoys them upward. As we attune to nature, our feathered friends can encourage us.  If you are one of the “sandwich generation” (caring for aging parents and still supporting adult children) now may be the perfect time to give your young eagle a push from the nest – you may be surprised at how well the rising tide in nature supports both you and your young adult, if you can be as brave or knowing as the mother eagle and give your son/daughter that push.
MAY…..you breathe in the many healing (and wholing!) images around us.
