Summer is in full motion, and in my garden that means the bushes are thrusting branches higher everywhere. As I wrestle with pruning and weeding, I am aware of how much life force is all around me, repeating its growth surges, insistent that it will not be held back. I could make this a struggle, but I feel it as an invitation to dance with Nature, to embrace and re-direct powerful life forces. This way the life energy lifts me, carries me through my pruning and weeding with energy and enthusiasm. The Nature Spirits and sprites are alive and well, playing around me and through me. I dance at the wedding of sun and earth, high with green energy flowing through my veins (remembering how close are the molecular structures of chlorophyl and blood – hemoglobin).
We are truly blessed to be invited into the wild, sacred dance of Life.
